Comparison: World War I & II (The Great War and the Greater War)

Using the internet (Google images etc.) Compare the two wars in any three of the following aspects:

• People/leaders
• Events
• Battles
• Combatants
• Weapons/tactics
• Turning points
• Organizations
• Values

Copy and paste pictures on a Google Doc that show a comparison between World War I & II in any three of the above aspects.  For each aspect you should have a picture from World War I and World War II.  Write a single caption for each pair of pictures explaining the comparison, either difference or similarity.

You should end up with a total of six pictures and three captions.  Make sure you share your Google Doc with me.

In Between Wars (1919-1939)

There are many events that occur as a prelude to World War II.  You will be creating a Google Drawing that will contain images from each of the following events:

1. The Great Depression
2. Hyperinflation in Germany
3. Hitler's rise to power I
4. Hitler's rise to power II
5. Stalin's purges
6. Spanish Civil War

Open up a new Google Drawing.  You will find at least two images for each event and provide a caption for them.  Fore each event you will then describe how the event might have led to World War II.  Feel free to use other links than the ones shown above.  Google the event and go to images.
